What skill level should I have to join a Guided Journey trip?
Our Guided Journeys are fun trips for friends and families to get out and enjoy being on the water.
Depending on your trip, you should consider the following:
How comfortable are you being in the outdoors?
This is a half day, so you should be prepared to spend up to three hours outside without going indoors.
Padding skill?
This is an Intermediate "blue" Trip, meaning we’ll be on the loch, which may include a short time being exposed to the elements.
You don't need to have canoed before, but we will spend up to two hours on the water. During breaks on land, you will have opportunities to stretch your legs.
Who do I paddle with?
Our Guided Journeys are designed as tandem trips. If there is an odd number in your party, your guide will paddle with one of your party.
